Fähncheskreuz

Beginning in July 1895 we hid under the cross, the upper half of a Roman grave stone from the late 1st Century AD This stone grave of a soldier with a Latin inscription probably dates from the Roman burial ground of "Castellum Mattiacorum", today's Mainz-Kastel. The stone was named "Fähncheskreuz" transported and used probably to its foundations. Renovated in 1926 the cost-Heimer Bauer Fähncheskreuz the club. End of 1981 was the "Kostheim Folk Society" the Cross again provided with a flag after the old one was gone. Later it was found again the old weather vane. It is in "museum fare home" store.

crossroads in Gotthelf
at the hock road in the corridor "in Gotthelf" once stood a stone crossroads. The torso of this cross was taken by members of the "home club fare home" safe and protected from further decay.
