Henrich, Johann Baptist Johann Baptist
Henrich 1817 to 1859 as a Catholic priest in home cooking. In 1821 he read in the then Kostheim Notkirche - landesherrlichem despite ban and spiritual - by 5 clock early a requiem (Requiem) for the on 5 May of that year Napoleon died on St. Helena. This was done in gratitude that the French emperor in 1808 Kostheim for 25 years was exempt from all taxes, because their village was destroyed in the fighting between the French and Germans of 1793 several times until 1799. For the same reason Henrich held annually one year from memory. Napoleon III. (1809-1873), nephew of Napoleon I, commended the noble sentiments of the cost-Heimer priest, by this knight of the French Legion of Honour suggested. During the term of office of Pastor Henry was rebuilt of the church of St. Kilian on the foundations of the Baroque church destroyed in 1793. This new building officially opened on 24 Bishop Peter Leopold Kaiser July 1836 one. After his death, Pastor Henry was in the old cemetery next to the bury the family in 1837, donated Hohmann cross.
Gottfried Gottfried Scholz Scholz
pastor since 1996, serves the Catholic communities of St. Kilian and Maria Hilf in home cooking. He was born in Bieberau in the Odenwald and grew up with three brothers in a Catholic and faithful parent home. On 10 June 1978 consecrated him Bishop Hermann Volk of Mainz Cathedral for priests. Before coming to fare home, he worked as a chaplain in Neu-Isenburg and Bad Nauheim, as a youth pastor and as a priest in Mainz in Karben in the Wetterau. In June 1978 he celebrated his 25-year-old priest anniversary.
