The Kostheim Plums ("squeezing") were once widely known and sought after. Interested in the Rhine-Main region bought earlier at high Strasse directly from producers, the freshly harvested plums. Until the Second World War (1939-1945), whole wagon loads of food Heimer plums to Hamburg and Scandinavia transported.
