found at this weekend's annual research camp held in Wispertal. About 20 Höfos of the National Association for Cave and Karst Research Hesse, supported by friends from the Bat Conservation searched for mining tunnels, which according to old documents in certain valleys the Wispertal still should be present. If the tunnels were actually found, the coordinates were calculated by means of GPS, a bio-speleologic sampling, photo documentation and possibly a quick survey. In the evening of course was not the social part too short and there was a lively exchange between some who traveled from Hamburg and Regensburg researchers. Click here for slideshow
